Sojourners Propagandists Demand Christians Other Than Themselves Relinquish Political Power

In the July 2025 issue of Sojourners Magazine is a pull quote that reads “Will the Church cling to power or return to the Prophets?”

The cover story of the same issue is titled “Who Will Control Learning: A Hundred Years After The Scopes Trial, Education Is Still A Testing Ground For Democracy”.

So what the activists at Sojourners are saying in between these headlines is that they themselves have no intentions of relinquishing their hold on power.

Rather that is an obligation to be imposed through various manipulative means in a top down fashion that does very little to respect the freedom that these elites claim to value upon those that hold to a more traditionalist understanding of theology and culture.

Interesting how the phraseology of “democracy” is glamorized but there is no intention of allowing those across the heartland of America to have any say in how students at all levels of education are taught regarding what constitutes truth and the foundations of fact and belief upon which that is built.
